We work throughout Michigan and the Ohio Valley to give butterflies and other pollinators a leg up in their fight for survival.
Hocking Hills Pollinator Gardening Symposium 2026
Join us for our third annual Hocking Hills Pollinator Gardening Symposium, which will be held at the historic Logan Theater in downtown Logan, Ohio on Saturday March 28.
The current slate of speakers for this year’s event include:

Chris Kline (Butterfly Ridge) - Starting Your Pollinator Garden with Seeds
As always we will have the seed sharing table, this year featuring close to 40 different species to pick from, and Butterfly Ridge will have books and other resources available for purchase! Pre-registration is required, $25. Click here for details.

What does the Polygonia Foundation do?
The Polygonia Foundation serves as the education and conservation outreach arm of Butterfly Ridge Butterfly Conservation Center.
Among our projects:
We provide seeds of native plants free of charge to help pollinator enthusiasts start with native plant gardening.
We teach about pollinators, including classes and workshops about butterflies, moths, and other pollinators.
We sponsor symposiums and festivals that educate others about pollinators.
We encourage landowners to create habitat for pollinators.
